Eureka!

9.10am Sunday morning - Ahh, pint of tea and couple of slices of toast @ Eureka cyclists' cafe (near 2 Mills), half way thru 27.2 mile training cycle with Cookie

Only guys in there WITHOUT full cycle kit and those weird shoes.

Outside cafe - 45 hi-tec, ultra-modern road racing bikes, 1 1970's road touring bike - complete with mudguards, pannier rack and dynamo (mine) and 1 Tesco's Finest mountain bike - complete with very thick off-road tyres, ladies comfort saddle and a ding-a-ling-bell (hehheh, sorry Cookie)...

Listen Maliakus. You're only jealous because you're still using stabilisers.

Brilliant. You appear to be going so well and seem to be ahead of schedule.
You'll be glad you went back to Ad & Jens to start (maybe in a week/month/years time).
Have you needed much vaseline/lanolin as you haven't mentioned it in your blog.
Hope to meet up with you for a pint of real ale in a couple of weeks and hearing a few more details.
Best of luck for the rest of the journey. Hope it's cooler in the mountains.
Look forward to more NB blog.
